August 28, 2025 | Launch Announcement: Journal of Sustainable Geosynthetics (JSG) Now Open for Submissions
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Journal of Sustainable Geosynthetics (JSG) — an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to the latest research and advancements in intelligent technologies for autonomous unmanned platforms.
JSG welcomes original research articles, reviews, and technical notes on topics such as sustainable geosynthetics, eco-friendly materials, design and construction practices, soil–geosynthetic interaction, circular construction, and applications in civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering.
We are now accepting submissions for the inaugural issue. Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. For more details, visit the Submission Guidelines page.

August 24, 2025 | Call for Special Issue Proposals: Lead a Thematic Issue on Emerging Topics
The Journal of Sustainable Geosynthetics (JSG) is now inviting proposals for Special Issues on focused, timely, and impactful topics within the field of sustainable geosynthetics.
We welcome Guest Editors with strong academic or industry credentials to propose and lead a Special Issue. This is an excellent opportunity to gather contributions from your research community and highlight advances in areas such as:
- Bio-based and biodegradable geosynthetic materials
- Durability and long-term performance of sustainable geosynthetics
- Geosynthetics for green construction and urban resilience
- Advanced testing and modeling of eco-friendly geosynthetics

As part of the official launch of the Journal of Sustainable Geosynthetics (JSG), we are pleased to invite distinguished researchers and professionals to join us as Founding Editors and members of the Founding Editorial Board.
JSG is a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research at the intersection of sustainable materials, geosynthetics design, environmental engineering, and practical applications in civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure systems.
We are seeking editorial board members who:
- Have a strong academic or industrial background in sustainable materials, geosynthetics design, and their applications in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering.
- Demonstrate a record of scholarly publications and peer review experience
- Are enthusiastic about shaping the direction and quality of a new interdisciplinary journal
- Can actively contribute to manuscript review, promotion, and community engagement
